Responsibility to our communities

RBC BlueBay is committed to giving back to our communities and has in place an established, employee-led charity forum.

RBC BlueBay supports charities where we feel we can tangibly contribute from both a fundraising and volunteering perspective and the charities we support are chosen by our employees.

Historically, we have often supported a number of charity partners concurrently. However, for 2024-2025, our employees made the decision to partner with a single charity, St Luke’s Community Centre.

Having a single charity partner for us at RBC BlueBay allows us to also support RBC Europe’s charity partners. These include Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity, the Prince’s Trust, the Brit School, SportsAid and more.

Outside of this, we also continue to support a number of other charities through volunteering and fundraising.

In 2023, over 60% of RBC BlueBay staff participated in volunteering activities and donated over £190,000 of their own money to charities.

St Luke’s Community Centre

St Luke’s Community Centre is a charity in South Islington that serves the local community. The community centre provides vital resource to local residents of all ages. St Luke’s provides a wide range of services and activities to those in need ranging from a food bank, employment and digital skill training for adults and after school education and sports facilities for children.

Our community engagement programme

Creating a positive social impact in the communities in which we live and work is core to our culture. To support this, we have a grant process that enables employees to request charity donations of up to £1,000, to support charities that matter to them.

Volunteering is a core part of our culture

We set a target of 40% of employees taking part in volunteering and everyone can take two volunteering days each year to use with any charity or cause of their choice.

Four pillars
