General Counsel, RBC BlueBay Asset Management
James joined BlueBay Asset Management (which is now part of RBC Global Asset Management) in January 2007 as General Counsel and has responsibility for the London and Munich-based Legal teams across RBC BlueBay (RBC Global Asset Management’s business outside North America). James was appointed to BlueBay Asset Management’s Management Committee in 2017; and RBC BlueBay’s Leadership Team in 2022, when he also became a member of RBC’s British Isles Diversity Leadership Committee. James is a Director of Minsheng Royal Fund Management, China. James has 29 years’ experience in financial services. He started his career at Slaughter and May, where he qualified as a solicitor. James holds a Law degree from the University of Oxford.
