Our philosophy is founded on the following beliefs:
- Businesses that display high and/or improving return on capital with strong balance sheets and consistent cash flow generation can outpace market expectations
- Short-term market shocks can create opportunities to buy stocks at a significant discount to what we assess is the fair value of the underlying business
- A disciplined and unconstrained view of the benchmark can build differentiated excess returns over time
