Cuando en 2009 comenzó la crisis de la deuda soberana europea, seguimos con atención la evolución de los acontecimientos y nos beneficiamos de nuestras posiciones cortas y largas, que generaron una rentabilidad superior al 10% frente al índice en 2011 y 2012. En este contexto, en 2015 se habló mucho de la posible salida de Grecia de la eurozona. En contra de la opinión de consenso de la época, y tras la notable reducción de los diferenciales, consideramos que Grecia ofrecía oportunidades de valor importantes con respecto al resto de países. Tras un profundo diálogo con Syriza, partido político griego, y con el Parlamento Europeo en Bruselas, adoptamos una postura definitiva al respecto y nuestra posición generó una considerable rentabilidad para nuestros clientes.
