Zhenbo Hou
BlueBay Sovereign Strategist, Emerging Markets
Zhenbo joined BlueBay Asset Management (which is now part of RBC Global Asset Management) in June 2017 as an EM Sovereign Strategist within the Emerging Markets Team. Prior to BlueBay, Zhenbo worked at Bank of China where he was Senior Officer for Macroeconomic Research. Prior to that he was an economist in the International Economic Development Group at the Overseas Development Institute in London. Between 2010 and 2012, he was the first Chinese national to be selected for the ODI Fellowship, serving for two years as an economist in the Nigerian Presidency. Zhenbo holds an MSc in International Political Economy from the London School of Economics; and a BSc in Economics, Politics and International Studies at Warwick University.
